Garden and Home of Mick and Edie Hunt
Potluck lunch
We have a lot of interesting plants and plantings on the five acres. We subscribe to what I call the Rough School of Landscape Design and Maintenance which means none of this is refined and highly groomed. I tend to install mass plantings of a variety of material, do little pruning, and I mulch heavily to reduce weed growth. As time allows I collect native plants from the wild.

Western North Carolina's largest selection of premium quality daylilies. We are an American Daylily Society DISPLAY GARDEN and are home to many ADS Award Winning cultivars. Peak bloom is always the 4th of July at Blue Kidge Darlilies. Typically, visitors are welcome to shop in the garden 7 days a week from June 20th - July 31. The garden is only 15 minutes north of Asheville, North Carolina..

Home and Garden of Elizabeth Clark
Our home sits on 90 acres surrounded by National Forest, yet its only about 10 minutes from Sylva, North Carolina. The 2 acre plus garden"is planted to be enjoyed all seasons. We are extremely lucky to have a beautiful "borrowed" landscape view. We have a shade garden, as well as full-sun perennial beds. Our focus is easy care and native plants. The past few years I have also been a beekeeper so I grow native flower food for my ladies. The fruit and vegetables we grow seems to also go to support the wildlife and bees. We have added sculptures and/or focal items throughout the area and several of the sculptures my husband has designed, they are truly unique.
Since it is quite a trek from Asheville we will provide drinks and a light lunch.

Home and Garden of Peggy Snow
The draw in coming to my house is not the garden. Come to my house to see the interior designed by me with the Japanese principles of shibui and wabi in mind. I spent six and a half years living in Japan and during that time I gathered together a collection of Japanese furniture and artifacts in anticipation of decorating my house in this beautiful style once I returned to the states. I've been told that my house looks like a museum, but trust me, my house is "lived in". Nothing just sits on a shelf to be admired; I use all my stuff. I'm so happy to be able to share my Japanese eye candy with all of you who wish to visit. See you soon.
